Long distance panoramic Hiking
The Engadin or Engadine, a long high Alpine valley region is located in the eastern Swiss Alps in the canton of Graubünden. It follows the route of the river Inn which waters Engadin, the only Swiss valley and ends up in the Black Sea via the Danube. The high ranges of mountain on all sides protect the region of Engadin which is famous for its sunny climate, beautiful landscapes and outdoor activities like hike, camping.
The Via Engiadina is a famous hiking trail that crosses the entire length of the Engadin, along the valley floor along the Inn. Bündner Arbeitsgemeinschaft für Wanderwege (BAW) gets the praise of well-maintenance. As it is designed to be a long hiking trek, it can be completed on ten day tours for a well-fitted person.
You can part this panoramic hike into three or more. There are facilities to stay and dine as you please.
The Via Engiadina, high-altitude trail, gifts you a summery charm that hardly any hiker can resist. The fragrant stone pine forests, blooming mountain meadows, and foaming torrents quickly make you to forget the tiredness and pain of legs.
It is wonderful place for one who loves nature and long hike with fresh and refreshing air the colorful flowers on the window sills, and, above all, the golden shining sun.
