- The castles of Bellinzona – One of Ticino’s main attractions. In 2000 they became a part of UNESCO’s World Heritages.
- Verzasca valley – wonderfully beautiful valleys of the Ticino. A leisurely stroll along the lake, through sporting trails, with breathtaking views to make the heart of any mountain walker quick.
- Vallemaggia – offers to tourists some superb fine sandy beaches with natural pools sculpted into the rocks. From the usual “grottos” where you can enjoy traditional Ticino dishes in the shade of the trees.
